Hiking and Weightloss

The 3 reasons we chose to do more hiking at Desert Cliffs is:
1. We love it!
2. We have beautiful landscape here year-round!
3. Hiking contributes greatly to weightloss.

-The good thing about hiking is that you can start slow. If you can walk, you can hike, so it's not something that you have to be exceptionally good at or learn how to do.

-Hiking is a great booster to your body's ability to burn calories and fat.

-Hiking increases your leg strength and stamina. We change our hikes every day, so it reduces the "boredom factor" of most other workouts.

- Hiking is also an amazing stress reliever. You will be taking in fresh air, and the beautiful sites of nature into your mind and soul.

Is there a better way to rejuvinate your mind, body, and soul? I think NOT!:)
